IGAD Member States Endorse 2025 Budget

The Executive Secretary of IGAD, Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu convened today with the IGAD Committee of Ambassadors to deliberate on the 2025 IGAD Budget which was endorsed unanimously.

On the occasion, Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu posted the following on x platform:

“For nearly four decades, IGAD has stood as a beacon of hope and unity for our region, tackling challenges and championing progress in peace, security, and development. Our journey has been one of resilience, fueled by the unwavering commitment of our Member States. Every achievement we celebrate is a testament to what we can accomplish together.

Honoured to convene with the IGAD Committee of Ambassadors today to deliberate on the 2025 IGAD Budget which they endorsed unanimously.
