Foreign Minister expresses his appreciation for the efforts made by the EPS in providing insight into Sudan’s positions in external and internal platforms
J̌Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Office of the Official Spokesperson and Media Department issued the following press statement;
Ambassador Dr. Ali Youssef, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received in his office a delegation from the Electronic Press Association, headed by Al-Sir Al-Qassas.
Al-Qassas provided the Minister with a comprehensive explanation of the role played by the Association within the framework of media efforts supporting the armed forces in the Battle of Dignity in order to achieve stability and security in Sudan and to preserve its sovereignty.
He pointed out that the Electronic Press Association includes a large number of professional journalists who play a great national role in raising national awareness and preparing for the battle of reconstruction after the end of the war.
Al-Qassas affirmed their support for the Minister in leading the Sudanese diplomatic ship at this important stage in Sudan’s history,
and their praise for his national and pioneering role, which appeared clearly in Sudan’s diplomatic positions on regional and international issues and in explaining the current political situation in Sudan in confronting and defeating the rebel militia and its supporters.
For his part, Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the Electronic Press Association in supporting diplomatic efforts and providing insight into Sudan’s positions in foreign and domestic forums.
His Excellency considered that diplomacy and media are two sides of the same coin and play an important national role at this critical stage in Sudan’s history.
His Excellency stressed coordination and cooperation with the Association to attract training opportunities for the Association’s cadres in international training institutions, in addition to participating in regional and international forums and events.
He discussed the possibility of strengthening cooperation relations with associations and quayside associations in friendly countries and international organizations.
