Federal Chamber of Cholera Response Campaign: 92% vaccination coverage

The measles vaccination campaign continued in the localities of Al-Manaqil and Al-Qurashi in the Gezira state, while the cholera vaccination campaign concludes today in 3 states, which reached a coverage rate of 92% until its fifth day yesterday.

The Federal Chamber of the Cholera Response Campaign held its meeting on Monday at the Reproductive Health Hall in Kassala and reviewed the reports of the liaison officers related to the progress of the measles and cholera campaigns, including the plans of the federal supervisors, as well as the supply situation, various activities to promote health, side effects and monitoring of cholera and measles cases during the campaigns.

It is worth noting that the vaccination campaign with a vaccine against cholera lasted for 6 days, as it was launched last Wednesday in 3 Red Sea states (Port Sudan, Dardeep and Haya), White Nile (Qoli), River Nile (Shendi and Al-Matma), while the paralysis campaign concluded in the Blue Nile region.
