Cholera Response Campaign Concludes

The Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) concluded today the cholera response campaign in the localities of New Halfa and Atbara River in Kassala State, locality of Al-Jabalain in the White Nile State , and some centers in the localities will continue to vaccinate people who did not receive the vaccine during the days of the campaign, while the measles and rubella campaign, which is confined only to Khartoum State, Karary locality, continues until December 14.

The meeting of the Federal Chamber revealed in its meeting today, Tuesday, at the Reproductive Health Hall in Kassala , that the coverage in Pixella is 84%, in the White Nile 49%, attributing the low coverage in the White Nile due to the lack of implementation in some areas, including quality and camps for the security situation, and will be followed up with the concerned authorities to vaccinate those areas whenever the opportunity arises, announcing 71% coverage of the measles and rubella vaccine in Karary locality within 8 days of its launch, which began on December 2
