Celebrates World Diabetes Day The Citizen/ Haffiya Elyas

The Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, saluted the great work carried out by the Sudanese Childhood Diabetes  Association and its provision of therapeutic support and health awareness, expressing his happiness with the continued provision of services to diabetic children, saying that the association gives hope to the children of Sudan.

This came while addressing the celebration of the World Diabetes Day, which was held by the Society at the General Intelligence Service today, Friday.

The Minister affirmed his ministry’s interest in health activities and its support for the association and diabetic children.

The Minister pointed out that the war launched by the Militias has had a great impact on mothers and children.

The President of the Sudanese Society of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes and The Sudanese Childhood Diabetes  Association, Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Abdullah, thanked the Federal Ministry of Health for their great and effective role in continuing to provide services to diabetic children in the country.
