Al-Burhan receives a written message from the Egyptian President

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st. Lt. Gen. Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, received today a written message from Egyptian President Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi regarding the promotion and development of relations between the two countries in a way that serves the interests of the two brotherly peoples.

This came during his meeting today in Port Sudan with the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, Ambassador Badr Abdul-Ati, who delivered the message to him, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ali Youssef.

Foreign Minister Ambassador Ali Youssef said in a press statement that the visit of the Egyptian Foreign Minister and his accompanying delegation reflects the strength and development of relations between the two brotherly countries, indicating that it comes at a historic and important time in the course of developments taking place in Sudan, from the Dignity War to efforts to end the war for the benefit of the Sudanese people and rebuild what the war destroyed and get Sudan out of the dark tunnel that this war and those who stood behind it put it in.
Ambassador Ali Youssef added that the meeting between Al-Burhan and the Egyptian Foreign Minister was a fruitful meeting in which a written message was delivered from Egyptian President Abdul Fattah El-Sisi to his brother, Al-Burhan, indicating that the message confirms the common destiny of the people of the Nile Valley.
He said that Al-Burhan expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Egyptian President and the brotherly Egyptian people for the good reception of the Sudanese who moved to Egypt after the war and the services provided by the Arab Republic of Egypt to them.

The Foreign Minister added that there are some problems facing the Sudanese in Egypt and they were discussed with Minister Badr Abdel-Ati, who promised to solve and address them.

.For his part, the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration stated that his visit to Sudan comes in implementation of the directives of His Excellency President Abdul Fattah El-Sisi to convey a message of full support and solidarity from the Egyptian state to the Sudanese state, indicating that the meeting touched on the overall developments in the region and the directives of His Excellency President Abdul Fattah El-Sisi to provide all possible support to the Sudanese brothers, stressing the solidarity of the Egyptian people with the Sudanese people.
He added that he also listened to an enlightenment from the Head of the Sovereignty Council on the developments in Sudan, stressing that there is a common will from the Sudanese and Egyptian leaderships to intensify consultations between the two countries regarding all files that concern Sudan and Egypt, especially with regard to coordination in regional and international forums.
