Agar stresses the necessity of national alignment and good preparation for the post-war phase

Deputy Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Malik Agar Ayre, stressed that the Sudanese people need to know and sense the extent of the readiness of the political parties and forces for the post-war phase.

His Excellency called, when addressing today the second political forum of the Sudan Justice Alliance under the slogan Sudan First (National Alignment – Common Conscience), to change the political discourse, strengthen the national ranks, and seriously think about achieving stability and enhancing security and peace.
His Excellency pointed out the importance of developing plans and programs to build what the war destroyed economically, psychologically and morally, and the importance of coordination with the current government and working on the unity and consensus of the national forces to implement the proposed programs.

Agar attributed the deterioration of some Sudanese political components to fragmentation, divisions, and the lack of clear programs.

He added that the failure of political experiments to achieve democratic transformation and manage diversity is due to the lack of consensus and being drawn into regionalism and ethnicity, which has strengthened dictatorial rule and the proliferation of coups and civil wars that pave the way for the collapse of the state, which the international community seeks.
