The Higher Committee for the Rehabilitation of Atbara Airport

The Higher Committee for the Rehabilitation and Modernization of Atbara Airport today, headed by Engineer Samir Saeed, Minister of Infrastructure and Urban Development in River Nile State, Chairman of the Committee, and in the presence of Professor Abdul Wahab Mohammed, Director of the Airport, Abdullah Al-Sa’im, Chairman of the Financial Committee, and Directors of the General Departments of the Sudan Railways Corporation discussed the mechanisms for the corporation’s contribution to the rehabilitation and modernization process that has taken place at the airport.

The committee pointed out during its meeting with Engineer Musa Al-Qom Al-Jahdi, Director General of Sudan Railways Corporation, in his office in Atbara, the level of modernization and rehabilitation operations and the urgent requirements for its approval among the ranks of international airports.

For his part, Engineer Musa Al-Qom Al-Jahdi affirmed his support for the airport rehabilitation project as one of the important vital projects in the country.
