Interior Minister chairs the first meeting of the Traffic Safety Coordination Council

Khalil Pasha Sayreen, chaired today in the hall of the Ministry of Trade and Supply the first meeting of the Traffic Safety Coordination Council in the presence of Lieutenant General of Police Khaled Hassan Mohi El-Din, Director General of the Police Forces and members of the Council from the relevant ministries and institutions

Major General of Police Dr. Siraj Al-Din Mansour Khaled, Director General of Traffic and Rapporteur of the Council, said that the Council discussed the national status regarding road traffic safety for the year 2023, which was presented by the representative of the Federal Ministry of Health, who pointed out all the problems facing the roads in the country, indicating that the traffic problems that the report addressed will find follow-up and implementation by the Council through the Ministry’s plan, indicating that the Council also discussed the draft of the strategic plan for the year 2021 _2025, which is an ambitious plan based on accurate global and scientific standards according to scientific research, methods and international standards related to traffic safety, adding that the meeting concluded with approving the report of the Federal Ministry of Health and recommending the activation of the strategic plan and the necessity of distributing it to the members of the Council to express their observations on it following the extensive discussion on the report.
