Feel It: Resumption of School Year

Ministry of Education in Khartoum announced the resumption of studies for the sixth primary, third intermediate and third secondary grades for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Ministry set Tuesday, November 19, and until Thursday, November 22nd as date for teachers to attend and to register students for the three grades.
The students are asked to bring a copy of the results of the first period exams for the academic year.
The study actually will start on Sunday, November 24, for the sixth primary, third intermediate and third secondary classes.
The Ministry appealed to the service committees and parents’ councils to assist in facilitating what was stated in this announcement and working with the ministry’s supervisors in addressing the obstacles facing this process.
The rest of the classrooms in the three stages will be announced soon, demanding students who migrated to other states and completed the 2023-2024 academic year in those states, to bring the supporting and approved documents from the state in which they studied, to equitate it with the relevant office in the Ministry.

With the approach of the school year, there is renewed hope towards the return of normal life to our schools again and the preoccupation of public opinion with the future of education under the conditions of war, but what is optimistic is that the government has become able and even more flexible and ready to deal with developments and put education at the top of its priorities, believing that education is an essential pillar of building generations and their industry.

But attending and returning to schools is no less important, but a major necessity, because simply schools are the laboratories that form generations, determine their natures and draw their personalities, so we are all hopeful for a new school year that carries optimism and hope with seriousness and diligence, and that our students return to break into classes once again .

We live in a rapid changes and daily pressures, students are one of the most vulnerable groups to stress and tensions, in addition to academic pressures, they face social and psychological challenges at a sensitive age, so the role of the family in particular is an important factor to help students deal with these challenges and achieve success in their academic and personal lives.

The return to study period after vacation is a sensitive period for many students, as they find themselves facing a transition from vacation, leisure and relaxation to academic obligations and study pressures. The role of the family in preparing students for this period is crucial.

There are some important tips to ensure success and excellence in the new academic year, which help the family support students and motivate them to succeed in the new academic year .
