Al-Burhan meets the River Nile State Governor

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st. Lt. Gen. Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan met today with Dr. Mohamed Al-Badawi Abdel Majid Abu Qurun, the acting governor of the River Nile State, in the presence of Ms. Amira Ahmed Hassan, Minister of Finance, Economy and Manpower in the state.
The Governor of the River Nile State said in a press statement that the meeting addressed the overall situation in the state and the efforts made to provide the necessary needs of citizens in the development, service and health fields, pointing to the arrangements and efforts made by the state government to provide shelters to the displaced from eastern Gezira State besides providing them with necessary services and needs.
He pointed out that the Head of the Sovereignty Council directed the importance of focusing on providing shelter services and providing humanitarian and medical assistance to the displaced.
Al-Burhan commended the great and appreciated efforts made by the state government in developing health services and advancing the health sector.
He added that the meeting addressed the importance of supporting agricultural projects in the state and the ongoing preparations for the winter season.
