Agricultural Bank signs a contract to finance the winter season

The Director General of the Agricultural Bank of Sudan, Dr. Mohamed Adam, and the Director General of Napta Petroleum Company signed a contract to finance the winter season in the states of the country.
The contract stipulated the provision of fuel for agriculture in the states of the North, River Nile, Kassala, White Nile and Gezira, in addition to the New Halfa and Rahad projects.
The Director General of the Agricultural Bank, Dr. Mohamed Adam Abdel Karim, praised the efforts of Napta Company, which it has continued to make in financing the agricultural season, as it alone undertook to finance the previous year 2023-2024 with a value of (35) billion pounds and the current season 2024-2025, noting that Napta Company has continued to provide agricultural fuel to the states of the country since 2006 on an ongoing basis.
The Director of Napta Petroleum Company, Mohamed Hassan Mohamed, confirmed the company’s readiness to provide the required quantities of fuel to complete the remaining harvest operations of the summer agricultural season, in addition to the winter agricultural season, which is relied upon to provide the strategic stock for the people of Sudan, despite the exceptional circumstances that the country is going through due to the war.
