Sudan to prepare places to host the expected flows of Ethiopian refugees.

Gedaref State governor’s advisor for refugee affairs, the director of refugee housing in Gedaref, the director general of the state’s water, and a number of humanitarian partners and organizations operating in the state, carried out a field visit to the proposed site to host Ethiopian refugees in light of the expected flows as a result of the ongoing fighting between the FANO militia in Ethiopia and the Ethiopian army forces in the cities near the borders of Sudan.
During the visit, the arrangements for the various sections were found, according to the specifications required to accommodate the necessary services.
The representative of the governor, Eng. Jaber Babiker, said in press statements that the state government is interested in providing all services, directing the implementation of a field visit to the Water Authority, which is close to the place, and the rehabilitation of all water sources in the region, so that it can provide water services to the camp and the host community.
