NVU Vice-Chancellor discusses integration and cooperation with his U of K counterpart

Vice-Chancellor of Nile Valley University, Professor Hassan Al-Sa’im, received this morning in his office in Atbara, a delegation from the University of Khartoum headed by Professor Imad Al-Din Al-Amin Al-Tahir Ardeeb, Vice-Chancellor of the University, along with his deputy Dr. Mahmoud Ali Ahmed, Dr. Al-Arqam Al-Arayah Sanhouri, Director of the University of Khartoum Examination Center in Atbara, Dr. Osman Ali Haj Al-Amin, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Dr. Faiza Ali Nasr, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing Sciences, and a number of directors of departments at the University of Khartoum, in the presence of Dr. Al-Amin Al-Tayeb Al-Tahir, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the Nile Valley University, Professor Abdul Rahim Abdul Wahab, Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Abdul Majeed – Secretary of Scientific Affairs, and a number of deans of colleges at the Nile Valley University.
The meeting discussed opportunities to enhance integration and cooperation between the two universities.
For his part Professor Ardeeb, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Khartoum, expressed his appreciation to the University of the Nile Valley for hosting the exams of the students of the University of Khartoum.
Professor Imad Al-Din Ardeeb, Chairman of the Sudanese Universities Union and the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Khartoum, praised the national roles of the Nile Valley as it bears the burden of hosting this large number of universities that were affected by the war and whose studies were disrupted, which exceeded 25 public and private universities and whose students exceeded 13,000 male and female students. Professor Hassan Al-Hajj Hamad Al-Sa’im, Vice-Chancellor of Nile Valley University, said: In order for the university to care for the future of our students from other universities and to continue their educational path, the university had to open the halls and laboratories for them and provide the ideal atmosphere for them, asking God for victory for the armed forces. Professor Ardeeb and the accompanying delegation visited the College of Education and inspected the halls and laboratories where the exams will be held in the last quarter of October.
It is worth noting that the exams will be held in Atbara and each of Shendi, Al-Qadarif, Kosti, in addition to the Emirate of Sharjah, Cairo and Riyadh.
