NVU Dispatches Medical and Health Convoy to Al-Abidiya Area

The people and dignitaries of the Al-Abidiya area, headed by Major General (Rtd.) Kamal Al-Asheer, head of the support committee in Al-Farouk Administrative Unit, and Ali Ibrahim Abdel-Jalil, received this morning the medical and health convoy that the Nile Valley University sent this morning to the Al-Nimr area in Al-Abidiya.
The convoy was headed by Abdul-Rahim Abdel-Wahab, the university’s vice president, accompanied by a number of deans and university employees from various departments.
The convoy comes in solidarity with the citizens of the Nimr area who suffered severe damage from the flood disaster that recently hit the area.
For his part, Abdul Rahim stated that the convoy was directly sponsored by the Vice-Chancellor of Nile Valley University and many official and popular bodies participated in it. It contained food supplies, blankets, mosquito nets, and various clinics in addition to the laboratory and pharmacy.
The clinics included ,Gynecology ophthalmology and pediatrics.
For his part, citizen Jalal al-Din al-Hadi, member of the administrative committee in Al-Abidiya, said that the convoy brought great relief to the citizens of the Nimr area, expressing appreciation to thenNile Valley University and its partners for their generous support for the people of the area.
