Interior Minister Calls on Europe to Reconsider Its Policy Towards Sudan

Interior Minister, Khalil Pasha Sayreen, stressed the importance of the role of development agencies in enhancing the response to the critical humanitarian conditions experienced by the Sudanese people as a result of the war.

He called on the European Union and all governments that imposed sanctions on Sudan and suspend development support to reconsider these policies that harm the Sudanese citizens in the first place, indicating that politicizing development support is useless and will only contribute to complicating the already complex situation.
