Head of the Sovereignty Council commends Sudanese-Turkish relations

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st. Lieutenant-General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, affirmed the depth of the Sudanese-Turkish relations.
He praised the aid that Turkey has been providing to the Sudanese people.
His Excellency said, when meeting with his office today, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Sudan, Ambassador Fateh Yildiz, Turkey will remain a strategic partner for Sudan.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin, said in a press statement that the Turkish ambassador conveyed to the President of the Sovereignty Council the greetings of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
He stressed that his country will continue to stand by Sudan and support the Sudanese people in facing the challenges, indicating that the meeting dealt with a number of economic issues and the necessity of supporting the prospects for joint cooperation between the two countries in the fields of agriculture, mining, oil, energy, education and health. For his part, the Turkish ambassador described his meeting with Al-Burhan as fruitful and useful, referring to the meeting that brought together Presidents Al-Burhan and Erdogan in New York during the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly, noting that the meeting also dealt with supporting the areas of bilateral cooperation in the fields of agriculture, mining, health and education. The Turkish ambassador affirmed the continuation of Turkish humanitarian aid to the Sudanese people.
