China Pledges to Contribute in Sudan’s Reconstruction Program

The Chargé d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Sudan, Ambassador Zheng Xiang, confirmed China’s appreciation for the steadfastness of the Sudanese people who say “victory is ours”, expressing his country’s hope that Sudan will overcome the current difficulties and challenges and reach safety and peace.

Ambassador Zheng said in an interview with (SUNA) that China is ready to return to Sudan and help rebuild what was destroyed by the war as soon as security and stability return to the country.

He indicated that Chinese companies have special feelings for Sudan and are ready to participate in the development and growth of the economy and traders in Sudan.

He touched on ways of future cooperation between Sudan and China, indicating that there are plans and understandings with Sudanese officials to develop bilateral relations and understandings to increase coordination on issues of common interest in the future.
