Al-Burhan sends a congratulatory cable to the Tunisian President on the occasion of his victory in the presidential elections

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st. Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, today sent a congratulatory cable to the Tunisian President Kais Saied on the occasion of his victory for a second term in the Tunisian presidential elections.

Al-Burhan said, “On behalf of the government and people of Sudan, I am pleased to congratulate you on the well-deserved victory in the presidential elections, wishing you good health and wellness, and the people of Tunisia continued progress and prosperity.”

He referred to the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, stressing Sudan’s keenness to promote and develop cooperation relations with Tunisia in various fields.
