Al-Burhan sends a congratulatory cable to the Chinese President

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st. Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan sent a congratulatory cable to the Chinese President Xi Jinping on the occasion of the seventy-fifth anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

Al-Burhan said, “We look with appreciation at this great anniversary in which the Chinese people made great sacrifices in order to establish the foundations of the modern state, which was crowned, thanks to your wise leadership, for a comprehensive renaissance, which will remain a model to be emulated and a beacon for nations and peoples.”

Al-Burhan affirmed Sudan’s readiness to continue the path of cooperation with China in all fields, indicating that he formed, immediately upon his return from China after participating in the China-Africa Cooperation Forum, a high committee to follow up on bilateral cooperation files with the aim of developing and promoting prospects for cooperation with the friendly People’s Republic of China.
