Agar heads to South Africa

Deputy Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander Malik Agar Ayre, headed this morning to the city of Johannesburg, South Africa, on an official visit that will last for several days.
During this visit, he will participate in the annual forum of the Thabo Mbeki Foundation, which discusses the issue of African peace and security.

He was seen off at Port Sudan International Airport by the Secretary-General of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant-General Mohamed Al-Gali Ali Youssef.
For his part, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin, said in a press statement that the Deputy Head of the Sovereignty Council will address the opening session of the forum and that Sudan will present a paper entitled The Situation in Sudan and Its Impact on Peace and Security in the Region

Agar is accompanied on his visit to South Africa by Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin, the Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
