Jaber, discusses with UNICEF representative in Sudan, prospects for cooperation and coordination to support children in Sudan

Member of the Sovereignty Council, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st. Lieutenant General Engineer Ibrahim Jaber, discussed in his office in Port Sudan,with the UNICEF representative in Sudan, Sheldon Yate, prospects for cooperation and coordination between the government and UNICEF to support children in Sudan.

The meeting addressed the necessary needs to address the health situation and violence against women and children, besides support and care for children and mothers.

The meeting also discussed the joint efforts made to open schools and maternity centers so that children can enjoy their rights to education and go to school.
