Head of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports in River Nile State
Ms. Hawa Idris, commended the great role played by the SFPA. This came during her meeting this Monday afternoon with Mr. Kawthar Ibrahim, head of the SFPA in the state, for the purpose of renewing the partnership and organizing awareness campaigns and environmental sanitation, in the presence of the directors of the departments of the Youth Sports Council, the commissioner and representatives of the youth of the SFPA.
She said that there is great cooperation between the council and the association and successful partnerships with the voluntary associations that support youth work, expressing
aspire to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen the ties and links between the council.
For her part, Ms. Kawthar Ibrahim welcomed the attendees and stressed the association’s endeavor to work with the council and organize a joint cleaning campaign that includes three areas (the popular, the flea and the fish markets) this weekend.
Ms. Kawthar Ibrahim called on all organizations to join the efforts in raising awareness, noting the great role played by sanitation campaigns and disease reduction. She called on the organizations to work in a team spirits specially in these exceptional circumstances that the country is going through due to the floods and rains that swept through the cities of the state and led to the spread of disease vectors.
She announced, during the expanded meeting, organizing a cleanliness and environmental sanitation campaign this weekend the end in cooperation with the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports through the unions and the Youth Administration.
She concluded by calling for concerted efforts to make the campaign a success, which will be kicked-off from the buildings of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports.
In the same context, the youth of the SFPA, Ed-Damar branch, carried out a cleaning campaign for Ed-Damar Hospital.
