Foreign Minister describes militia as ISIS

Foreign Minister Hussein Awad said that the Rapid Support Militia shares with terrorist organizations such as ISIS and Boko Haram the characteristics of extremist ideology and brutal violence, especially against civilians

The minister added that the militia’s extremist violence stems from an ideology based on ethnic supremacy, and aims at establishing a national homeland for the Arabs of Darfur, the African Sahel countries and those known as the Arab diaspora.
