Eritrea is a sister country to Sudan, which stood by the Sudanese, Says Al-Burhan

The Eritrean President Isaias Awfawrki, on the sidelines of his participation in the Sino-African Forum.

Al-Burhan said that Eritrea is a sister country to Sudan, where it stood by the Sudanese and hosted large numbers of people who sought refuge in it because of the war, praising Eritrea’s supportive stances for Sudan.
The Head of the Sovereign Council expressed his thanks and appreciation to the government and people of the government and the people for its solidarity with Sudan at this critical stage of its history.
On the Sudanese side, the meeting was attended by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Finance and Economic Planning, while the Eritrean Minister was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
