Deadly clashes amid RSF militia over looting of cows in Um Ruwaba

Identical sources reported an exchange of fire between two groups affiliated with the rebel Rapid Support Militia, on Saturday, in the city of Um Ruwaba, North Kordofan State.
The sources reported that the exchange led to the killing of (ten) and the injury of others, including the militia leader in Um Ruwaba area Ismail Hussein,
The sources said that the reasons for the incident were due to the looting of (400) heads of cattle owned by merchants on their way to Kosti by one of the militia leaders and the killing of the shepherds.
Ismail Hussein pursued them at the head of a force from his group, so one of the group members shot him, cutting off his finger, and the situation exploded and the two groups exchanged fire, leading to the killing and injury of members of the two groups and others, including citizens, and the situation is still tense in the Umm Rawaba area.
