Al-Burhan meets Khatmiyya sect delegation in the Red Sea

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st. Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan met today with the Khatmiyya sect delegation in the Red Sea, headed by Mawlana Jaafar Idris.
The meeting discussed the overall situation in the country.

Jaafar said in a press statement, “We came in the name of our noble Mawlana, Hon. Ibrahim Al-Mirghani Al-Khatim, to meet the Head of the Sovereignty Council and inform him of the role of the Khatmiyya sect in eastern Sudan and its participation in supporting national issues and its appreciated contributions to enhancing peace and community security.”,confirming the Khatmiyya sect’s support for the armed forces in the battle of dignity, expressing his hope that security and peace will prevail throughout Sudan.
