Al-Burhan leaves for the United States of America

Head of the Sovereignty Council in Sudan, Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, is scheduled to leave the country tomorrow evening, Thursday, heading to the United States of America to participate in the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly, scheduled to be held the day after tomorrow, Friday, September 13.

Al-Burhan will deliver Sudan’s speech at the General Assembly meetings.
Sudan’s speech is expected to include a demand from the UN member states to condemn the violations of the Rapid Support Militia and its practices of war crimes, genocide, and ethnic cleansing practiced against civilians, besides to drawing the world’s attention to these crimes.

Al-Burhan is also expected to demand that UN member states classify the Rapid Support Militia as a terrorist group.
