SPLM-N (Koko Telephone Leadership) Accuses Abdelaziz Al-Hilu Movement and the RSF of Coordinating to Besiege and Starve Citizens

The SPLM-N, led by General Telephone Koko Abu Jalha, accused the leadership of the SPLM-N, Abdelaziz Al-Hilu Group, of participating with the rebel Rapid Support Militia in starving citizens in the Nuba Mountains region and preventing them from practicing their agricultural activities by besieging cities and villages, cutting off supply routes, and refusing emergency relief provided by the World Food Program.

The SPLM-N “Juba Conference” Telephone Koko Leadership said that imposing a siege on cities and villages and starving citizens aims at forcing them to leave their home villsges.

The statement held the SPLM-N responsible for the deterioration in the Nuba Mountains region since their intransigence in reaching an agreement with the negotiating delegation led by Lieutenant General Kabbashi in Juba.

It is worth noting that the SPLM-N declared famine in the areas under its control on August 18.
