Qatar Development Fund Supports Sudan

Two relief aid planes arrived at Port Sudan from the Qatar Fund for Development, and will be allocated to those affected by torrential rains and floods in the North and River Nile State.
The aid includes 430 family tents and a quantity of shelter materials besides about 6000 blankets.
The two planes were received by the Chargé d’Affairs at the Qatari Embassy in Sudan, Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Mohannadi, Brigadier General Abdullah Muhanna Al-Raml, the embassy’s military attaché, the representative of the Humanitarian Aid Commission in Sudan, Al-Sadiq Adam Ibrahim, the representative of the Sudanese Red Crescent, Barakat Fares, and the head of the Qatar Red Crescent. For his part, Dr. Salah said that this aid comes within the air bridge of Qatari aid to Sudan, as the number of aircraft has reached twenty-six planes, and two other planes is expected to be received soon, bringing the number of Qatari aid flights to twenty-eight since the beginning of the crisis in Sudan.
