NVU hosts Sudanese Medical Council exams

The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at the Nile Valley University in Atbara witnessed on Saturday the launch of the exams for practicing of the Sudanese Medical Council for (380) male and female psyscians.

Professor Atef Ahmed Mohamed Saad, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Omdurman Islamic University – Director of the Atbara Center for the Permanent Registration Examination for Practicing the Medical Profession, said that the exam lasts for two days and is held at the Atbara Center simultaneously with the centers of the Sudanese Medical Council spread across Qatar, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman and the Emirates, in addition to the centers of Port Sudan, Kosti, Dongola and Al-Abied for 2647 male and female psyscians.
Professor Atef praised the level of organization, preparation and provision of computer labs in the college and the stability of the Internet and electricity network, as the exams are held electronically, extending the thanks and appreciation of the Sudanese Medical Council to the University of the Nile Valley, management and staff.
Professor Hassan Al-Hajj Hamad Al-Sa’im, Vuce-Chancellor of the Nile Valley University, accompanied by Professor Mohamed Al-Fateh Awad Faraj Allah, Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology at the University, Professor Sufyan Khalid, Professor of Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine at the University, Director of the Medical Specialties Examination Center in River Nile State, and a number of committee members, Professor Al-Sajjad Al-Tayeb, Professor Al-Tuhami Al-Faki Madani, Professor Walid Al-Hajj, Director of Al-Salam Hospital, Professor Amjad Abdo, Head of the Department of Pediatrics at the Nile Valley University, and the teaching staff at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the Nile Valley and Sheikh Al-Badri Universities, were reassured about the progress of the exams. Al-Sa’im announced his welcome to the Sudanese Medical Council, stressing that the Nile Valley University, based on its national responsibility, will always keep its halls open to all universities and scientific bodies, wishing success for the examinees, wishing that security and peace will prevail throughout the beloved homeland.
He added that the coming period will witness the holding of other exams in different specializations. Professor Al-Sa’im chaired a meeting of the examination committee, during which he learned about the progress of work at the center, issuing his directives in this regard.
A number of the examining doctors expressed their satisfaction with the level of preparation and the preparation of the laboratories. It is worth noting that the Nile Valley University had hosted a number of oath-taking programs for students graduating from medical colleges in Sudanese universities.
