Head of the TSC Back Home

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st. Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan returned to the country yesterday after an official visit to Rwanda and Angola that lasted two days, during which, he held fruitful discussions with the presidents of the two countries related to the course of Sudan’s relations with both Kigali and Luanda.
He was received at Port Sudan Airport by the Minister of Interior, Major General (Rtd.) Khalil Pasha Sayrin, and a number of ministers.
During this visit, Al-Burhan held talks with Rwandan President Paul Kagame and Angolan President João Lourenço, which dealt with Sudan’s relations with the two countries and mechanisms for enhancing joint cooperation between Sudan and both Rwanda and Angola.
He was accompanied during the visit by the Director of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.
