Head and members of the TSC mourn Professor Mahmoud Al-Houri

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st. Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhanand members of the Council mourn Professor/ Mahmoud Sir Al-Khatim Al-Houri – Acting Minister of Education, who passed away this evening, Friday, in Cairo.

The Sovereignty Council, while mourning him, mourns to the Sudanese people a patriotic and zealous man who devoted his life to serving education and his sincere efforts.
The deceased is a role model in professionalism and dedication to the service of education that extended for more than forty years.

The deceased will remain an icon and a symbol of dedication and loyalty, and the best teacher for eras of generations and teachers who influenced the profession of education, teaching and administration.

The Head of the Sovereignty Council and members of the Council express their deepest condolences and sympathy to his family, relatives, those who know his merit and the Ministry of Education.

May Allah the Almighty rest his soul in eternal peace.
