GIS honors the sports commentator, Al-Rasheed Badawi Obeid

On Sunday, August 25th, the General Intelligence Service (GIS) honored the sports commentator, Al-Rasheed Badawi Obeid, in its offices in Port Sudan, after his return from a medical trip outside Sudan.
Major General Essam El-Din Awad, Director of the Central Security Authority, saluted the role of sports media adding that the renowned commentators, Al-Rashid Badawi Obeid, deserves to be honored, after spending decades in, commenting on sports events on Sudanese radioin a distinctive style.
For his part, Al-Rasheed Badawi Obeid expressed his happiness at the intelligence service’s honoring of him, saying: My honor is a tribute to all the media professionals and sports commentators in Sudan. Al-Rasheed saluted the GIS for its initiative, and considered the great roles it plays towards society and sports, extending its thanks and appreciation to the leadership of the General Intelligence Service.
