Federal Ministry of Finance Undersecretary visits SFPA Head Office

The Undersecretary of the Federal Ministry of Finance, Dr. Mohamed Bashar, visited the headquarters of the Sudanese Family Planning Association (SFPA) for the River Nile State in Atbara, in the presence of Dr. Siham Jaber, Director of the Digital Interventions and Services Department, and the directors of the branches of the River Nile State, North Darfur, and North Kordofan.

Executive Director of the SFPA, Al-Shafie Mohamed Ali, provided a detailed information on the association’s response and its dealing with the emergency plan and the urgent implementation of services, explaining the wide-spread of the association despite the challenges facing communication and financing along with providing the necessary facilities to support the continuation of activities as planned.

For his part, Dr. Bashar praised the efforts of the association, expressing the importance of the visit and the information they received, thanking the association for its interventions in supporting issues of gender-based violence, stressing the state’s support and interest in the work of civil society organizations, headed by the Sudanese Family Planning Association.
