Extracts from an interview cinducted with the Deputy Head of the TSC

Al-Wa’ad newspaper conducted an exclusive interview with the Deputy Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, H. E. Commander Malik Agar Ayre.
The Citizen is hereunder publishing extracts from the interview in which Agar affirmed that:

* We don’t know when the war will come to sn end; but we are confident that it will end by great victory to the Sudanese people sooner or later.

* If Sudan collapsed, the consequences will be disastrous to whole Africa.

* There are foreign parties and mercenary groups fighting side by side with the RSF.

* The militias denied by itself its involvement in the failed assassination attempt that targeted Al-Burhan, while nobody ask them about their relation with the issue.

* The dialogue must be pure Sudanese and foreign involvement might lead to a truce that might explode to battles.

* Those RSF are uncontrolled mercenaries without any political agenda. Their goal is to loot the properties of the civilians.

* The UAE is leading the conspiracy against Sudan, and Daglo is just a tool in this war, so can change nothing.

* Ethiopia is and will remain our neighbor and any instability in Sudan will have it’s negative impact on Ethiopia.

* We are endeavoring to know the statuses of our refugees.

* Sudan is dominated with corruption which must be dealt with if we want to establish a strong state and develop the economy.

* The Sudanese-Russian relations are deep-rooted and there are endeavors to activate it on the ground.

* We are a sovereign state and we will develop our relationship with all countries.

* The call of the US Administration for the negotiations’ sessions in Geneva doesn’t concern us because it is addressed to the Commander-in-Chief of the army and not to the Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and this represents clear shortcoming as the call doesn’t represent the will of the people.

* The first option to bring an end to the war is militerarly and the negotiations option – if found -.

* All options that preserve the sovereignty of the state remain available.
