Zain, Nile Valley University organize a training course for women who fled Khartoum war

In continuation of its support for community development and capacity building, the Sudanese Mobile Phone Company – Zain – is organizing a training course in the field of handicrafts for the women who fled Khartoum war, in the Manasir area on July 8, 2024.
The course includes teaching sewing skills, embroidery, pastry making, and teaching the basics of public health, which contributes to improving the capabilities of women and girls, besides supporting them to become active in society and able to overcome all economic challenges

These courses come within a series of programs organized by Zain with the Nile Valley University – College of Community Development in Atbara, targeting the community of the Nile River State, which received large numbers of displaced people as a result of the war.

It is worth noting that Zain and the College of Community Development at Nile Valley University had launched a program to raise the capabilities and develop the skills of young people in the field of entrepreneurship, where 50 trainees were graduated, representing the first batch of the program.
The company also graduated 150 trainees in the field of first aid in the city of Omdurman during the second quarter of the year 2024 as part of its cooperation with Al Khaif Training Center.
