Narcissistic Acts: New Phase of Internal Colonization!

By: Alaa Babiker
Today is officially day number 465 of the Fall of Capital of the Republic of Sudan (Khartoum) to the Rapid Support Forces. The formation of these forces was a result of an unwise decision making of the past government that had no long-term insight for the consequences of formation and the absolute armament of these forces.
Many caught members of RSF have said that they were “ordered” to come and fight the non-muslim outlaws in the city of Khartoum (these are the great committed Muslim youths who made a successful revolution just to have their basic needs fulfilled; security, proper shelter and food, education, better health systems, etc), then these forces did their best to eliminate and execute as many young souls as possible specially at the massive massacre during Ramadan June 2019 which happened near the General Command Headquarters, only 2 months after the fall of the past government on April same year.
After the fall of the past government, the situation got worse as apparently no one (politicians or political entity) was in agreement with the other, and this “not accepting one another” allowed the major discord Sudan has ever seen to occur, as a result the war start, and ever since 15th of April 2023 we are fighting a cancer of no obvious cure so far and we are witnessing an internal colonization to our homes and neighborhoods.
The majority of the members of the RSF got out of control, as they are making robbery specially of valuable items (cars, gold, cash), murder, and intimidation using weapons to occupy houses of inhabitants of Khartoum. I personally don’t know anything about military or war tactics, but I’m sure this is not how wars are operated to deliver democracy to the entire population. Large number of houses inside the Capital are being occupied by members of RSF of both Sudan and non-Sudan nationals, which resemble an internal cancerous colonization. No cure and no escape. The result is the obvious displacement of 10.7 million of which 9 million are internally displaced, and 1.7 million have moved to outside of Sudan (statistics according to the International Organization for Migration).
We didn’t complete 70 years of freeing our country from an outside colonization and yet we seem to be facing a new inside one! Unless it all stopped by a major reconciliation very soon. God help Sudan and the Sudanese inside and outside the country.
The Sudanese Armed Forces are doing good considering the lives of the population when fighting back the inside enemies. No more to say but praying to God to grant wisdom upon our leaders to end this war.
