Interior Minister meets Head of the AJOC

Minister of Interior, Major General Police (Rtd.) Khalil Pasha Sayreen, met in his office yesterday with Lieutenant General of Police Dr. Hamid Manan Mohammed, Head of the Abyei Joint Oversight Committee (AJOC) on the Sudanese side.
The meeting discussed the file related to AJOC, in addition to discussing the contributions of the Sudanese police in the region in support of security and stability and what is expected to be provided in the subsequent stages to enable AJOC perform its work according to the signed bilateral agreements and the agreements concluded with the other side of the State of Sudan

It is worth noting that the Minister of Interior received a comprehensive briefing and a detailed and comprehensive explanation of the nature of AJOC’s work and the nature of the partnership and the operations of full coordination and great cooperation with the parties from the State of South Sudan and the impact of this partnership on the stability of the situation and achieving security in the region and spreading reassurance in the souls of citizens and consolidating the foundations of peaceful coexistence and peace and community security among all components of society in the region.
