H2O; keeps everything alive!

Chemical reactions are of great importance in life. All forms of life is basically a series of reactions between two or more substances that allow the chemical bonds between the atoms to be formed or broken. These chemical bonds are found in substances or mixtures.
The pure water as we know it is a substance, in which atoms join together to form molecules. A water molecule has three atoms: two hydrogen (H) atoms and one oxygen (O) atom. That’s why water is sometimes referred to as H2O. A single drop of water contains billions of water molecules.
In Islam, Allah said (And We made from water every living thing). Every thing that is alive is because of water, these two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. The little details of every living creature is because of water; mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, amphibians, all are of great percentage of water that keeps them, alive!
Regarding humans daily fluid intake; The U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine determined that an adequate daily fluid intake is: About 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day for men. About 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids a day for women. Which means clean water usable for human intake, but does every human has the availability of clean drinking water?!
Developing countries are most affected by water shortages, flooding and poor water quality, which makes it more difficult to stay hydrated and take the daily recommended amount of water. Up to 80% of illnesses in the developing world are linked to inadequate water and sanitation. In some places; particularly some rural areas, people are drinking from the same sources as animal, which increases disease rates to the highest levels. In many countries, pollution or rising sea levels are contaminating trusted water sources. In other countries, tribal conflicts, displacements and wars are another reasons for water shortage and the availability of very limited pure water, and in many cases the available is infected and not suitable for human uses, but is used anyway!
Sudan, our beloved country, is one of the countries that greatly suffered the shortage of water and the presence of water sources of minimum to no purity. After the emerge of this cursed war, water infrastructures inside the Capital is partially destroyed, and now not only people at rural areas are having contaminated water sources and sever shortage of water specially at the dry seasons, but people inside the Capital as well!
Water is the basic of life, without it all will vanish! It is the time to wake up and not just maintain all water sources infrastructures and supplies, but also to stop this chaos and start looking after this great and simple Sudanese population. May Allah grant wisdom and positive thinking upon our leaders to end this war.
