GIS concludes training course in emergency services and first aid in Kadugli

Under the auspices of the General Intelligence Service (GIS) in South Kordofan State, the training course in first aid and emergency services in Kadugli, the capital of the state at the time, was concluded with the participation of 50 male and female students.
The students celebrated at the end of the event with various activities, including the circumcision of one hundred children from poor families, in the presence of the state governor, Mohamed Ibrahim Abdel Karim, the director of the GIS in the state, Brigadier General Al-Tahir Al-Siddiq, and members of the South Kordofan State Security Committee.
The governor praised the role of the GIS in the state in serving the community, in addition to its role in the battle of dignity with the armed forces and other regular forces, and its tasks in maintaining internal security.
The governor of South Kordofan stressed the need for partnerships between society, state institutions and organizations in development programs, services and humanitarian emergencies.
The Director of Intelligence in the state, Brigadier General Al-Tahir Al-Siddiq, reiterated the continuation of implementing a package of programs in the fields of health and sports, in partnership with communities, in implementation of the slogan “Security is a responsibility”, and implementing other programs that support security, stability and mending the social fabric in all localities of the state.
Brigadier General Al-Tahir praised the existing partnerships with a number of institutions and organizations such as the Red Crescent Society, the Zakat Chamber, the Humanitarian Aid Commission, and the Steering Committee of the Ban Jadid neighborhood.
The General Intelligence Service had previously undertaken to strengthen and support the Kidney Surgery and Kidney Failure Patients Hospital in Kadugli and provide sports equipment to clubs in the region.
