Agar directs to promote development in the Abyei area

Deputy Head of the Sovereign Council, Commander Malik Agar Ayre, directed to redouble efforts to enhance development and community work in the Abyei area.

Chairman of the Abyei Joint Oversight Committee （AJOC）from the Sudanese side, Lieutenant General (Police), Dr. Hamid Manan, was received by Agar where he reifed the the Deputy Head of the Sovereignty Council, on the programs and projects prepared for the Abyei area, which AJOC seeks to implement to achieve development and stability, given that the Abyei area is a model of peaceful coexistence among the societal components of the region.
