Abiy Ahmed concludes visit to Sudan

Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed concluded his visit to the country today after an official visit during which he held discussions with the Head of the Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st. Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, which dealt with ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, issues of common interest, and developments in the situation in Sudan.
He was seen off at Port Sudan Airport by Head of the Sovereignty Council, 1st. Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, and a number of ministers.
The Sudanese and Ethiopian sides held a joint discussion session that stressed the importance of advancing, strengthening and developing relations in various fields.
They also noted the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries and their keenness to strengthen them in the interests of the two brotherly peoples.
The Ethiopian Prime Minister was accompanied by a high-level ministerial delegation.
