SEPA condemns the “Wad Al Noura” massacre, calls for international action to condemn the militia and prosecute it nationally and internationally

In continuation of its war against defenseless citizens and its inhuman, barbaric behavior, the terrorist Rapid Support militia committed a new massacre in the village of Wad Al Noura, Al Azazi administrative unit in Al Manaqil locality in Gezira state, killing dozens of citizens, including media professionals and journalists.
As a result of the civilian casualties, journalists, and media professionals in this massacre, the Sudanese Electronic Press Association (SEPA) held an emergency meeting of its executive office, headed by Al-Sir Al-Qassas, and the human rights mechanism, regarding the developments coming from the tragic disaster area.
During the meeting, the SEPA condemned the tragic events that took place in the village of Wad Al-Noura,
Al-Qurashi, in Gezira State and the genocide carried out by the militia against defenseless citizens
Accordingly, the meeting issued a denunciation and condemnation in the strongest terms, and the meeting considering that Wad Noura massacre as another aspect of the militia’s crimes against the Sudanese people, with the help of international parties seeking to replace people, values and heritage with another project that represents a danger to the region as a whole.
The SEPA calls on local, regional and international media outlets and national and international human rights organizations to condemn the militia and classify it as a terrorist organization, and to work clearly to condemn it in all platforms, expose its violations and inhuman practices in international judicial institutions, and present the militia leaders to the national, international and humanitarian community as a whole.
The SEPA hereby addresses national opinion, the world, and people of human conscience and affirms that the militia is a real danger to all of humanity and calls for all necessary efforts to be taken to put an end to this terrorist militia.
The SEPA calls on all the people of the country and its media institutions, and the Pen Holders, the conscience of the Sudanese nation, to exercise their utmost efforts to expose this evil and malicious plan.
The SEPA draws attention to the fact that the Wad Noura massacre will not be the last.
Accordingly, it calls for more national unity and for all of us to join the resistance, in which we will be saved, and to resist with the word and trigger.
The SEPA offers its deep condolences to the people of Wad Al-Noura and all Sudanese people in this great tragedy, which will only increase their pride and strength.
Despite the tragedy, the citizens of Wad Noura have proven that the militia project will fail.
