Red Sea Governor confirms support to the EPA

Governor of the Red Sea State praised the role of the Electronic Press Association (EPS) in supporting and assisting the armed forces in the Battle of Dignity and its clear support for all state institutions in light of the known circumstances.
During his meeting with the Executive Office of the EPA headed by Mr. Al-Sir Al-Qassas, the Governor of the Red Sea State, Major General Mustafa Muhammad Nour, renewed his government’s support for the activities and projects of the EPA, adding that the city of Port Sudan welcomes the presence of all media professionals and journalists and praises their national role.
In press statements following the meeting, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Association, Mr. Mohieddin Shajar, said that the Association’s delegation’s meeting with the governor discussed the Association’s projects and goals that were recently announced,
Pointing out that the governor welcomed the role of the media and the press in light of the difficult circumstances the country is going through.
For his part, Deputy Head of the Association, Mr. Abdul Qadir Bakash, said that the governor also stressed the importance of the role of electronic journalism in light of the absence of print newspapers as a result of the repercussions of the war.
Bakash added that the meeting with the governor comes within the framework of a series of meetings conducted by the EPA with state institutions, to emphasize the role of the media in the battle of dignity, describing the meeting as important and successful at the same time.
