Narcissistic Acts: Any suggestions for Strategic Humanitarian Solutions?!

By: Alaa Babiker

Our beloved country “Sudan” has never been apart. All parties are hand-tied to speaking, doing, or even providing any active solutions to the current situation, in which every Sudanese shares the same degree of bitterness and sorrow. Everyone is thinking about all types of solutions to put an end to this horrible matter that still affecting the lives of hundreds of thousands of the Sudanese population.

Our great Sudanese Armed Forces are implementing outstanding strategies to take down these militias. Since the beginning of this war the SAF are considering the population’s presence inside areas of conflict, and by consulting the best experts in the country they are achieving good results day after day. But these are war and fighting strategies; at this stage we need the most effective strategic humanitarian solutions to provide the most needed responses and to act as a soft ground for the crucial relief in many aspects that we must acquire as soon as possible.

Save The Children defines “Humanitarian Response Strategy as a collectively developed, comprehensive plan of action for responding to a crisis. It defines priorities, gaps and accountabilities, and includes a detailed budget. The strategy should be presented within the first four to six weeks after the onset of an emergency”. Now it has been 1 year and 2 months since the onset of the emergency we are still going through, and every day is a new day for questions about which types of responses we need? What types of Strategic Solutions can help the Sudanese population? the humanitarian sector in the country has never needed an active intervention, and yes many organizations are operating from the current administrative Capital of Sudan “PortSudan” but yet the different types of responses most needed will be effectively implemented after the complete stop of the bullets and bombing in Khartoum and Darfur States.

Many different aspects of strategic solutions for Sudan crisis are found on papers as methods of implementations. The implantation on reality is indeed complicated and needs even more determination, cease fire, good faith, willing, and lots of prays.

Share you answers and suggestions with us, and always pray that Allah grant positive thinking, discipline, and wisdom upon our leaders to end this war.
