Kabbashi meets West Kordofan State delegation

Member of the Sovereignty Council, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st. Lieutenant General Shams al-Din Kabbashi praised the efforts undertaken by the civil administrations in improving the social fabric, rejecting tribal and regional differences, and extending community peace and security.

During his meeting in his office in Port Sudan yesterday, His Excellency briefed the delegation of West Kordofan State on the overall situation in the state, stressing the importance of promoting peaceful coexistence among the components of the people of West Kordofan, raising the value of the nation, elevating its status, and protecting its lands.

For his part,Eisa Dahiya, the delegation’s spokesman, said in a press statement after the meeting that the delegation briefed the member of the Sovereignty Council, Deputy Commander-in-Chief, on the overall situation in West Kordofan State, especially humanitarian and security.

Dahiya affirmed the state’s support and assistance to the armed forces in their battle against the rebel Rapid Support militia and the readiness of its people to mobilize to protect the land and honor.
