Head and members of the Sovereignty Council congratulate the national football team

Head and members of the Transitional Sovereignty Council congratulated the Sudanese football team on the occasion of its victory over the South Sudanese national team and its topping the second group of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

They expressed their appreciation for the great efforts made by the team’s technical staff and players in achieving these victories, stressing that this victory is a great gift that pleased the masses of the Sudanese people, despite the delicate circumstances they are going through.

Head and members of the Sovereign Council expressed their wishes for the national team for more successes in the upcoming matches and to raise Sudan’s name in the 2026 World Cup.
