GIS pledges to support a kidney dialysis and surgery center in Kadugli

The General Intelligence Service (GIS) in South Kordofan State pledged to contribute to solving the problems of the surgery and dialysis center at Kadugli Teaching Hospital, securing the needs of dialysis patients, and supporting the health sector to overcome the effects of the war that cast its shadow on it.
Brigadier General Amin Al-Tahir Al-Siddiq, Director of the South Kordofan State Security Department, during his inspection visit to the center to greet permanent dialysis patients, accompanied by the state social affairs official, committed himself to addressing the problem of water desalination and ambulance maintenance and making the necessary communications with the competent authorities to provide the required medicines and medical consumables as soon as possible.
Al-Taher held a meeting with the director of the center, Dr. Al-Radi Ishaq, and a number of doctors and hospital workers. He inspected the center’s departments, saw on rhe ground the obstacles facing the workflow, and offered Eid congratulations to the patients.
The medical staff working at the center welcomed the visit and considered it as timely.
It is noteworthy that the center suffers from water desalination problems, due to which work stopped at different times, in addition to the breakdown of the ambulance, in addition to the problem of stockpiling medicines, tests, and consumables that are sufficient for only one month.
