Deputy Head of the TSC meets Zaghawa Tribe Shura Delegation

Deputy Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander Malik Ayre, praised the great role played by the native administration in strengthening the social fabric, rejecting tribal and regional differences.

He stressed during his meeting today with the delegation of the Shura Council of the Zaghawa Tribe, headed by Engineer Saleh Abdullah Ahmed Bahr, the importance of national unity, acceptance of the other, peaceful coexistence, and upholding the value of the nation and raising its status, affirming the government’s interest in the city of El Fasher due to its importance and historical specificity.

For his part, Muhammad Adam Ahmed, Secretary General of the Shura Council of the Zaghawa Tribe , said in a press statement that the delegation presented a detailed report to the Deputy Head of the Sovereignty Council on the efforts exerted made by the tribe since the beginning of the current crisis in providing humanitarian aid, especially medicine and food, pointing out that the Deputy Head of the Sovereignty Council pledged to overcome all obstacles and challenges hindering the delivery of humanitarian aid to citizens.

He affirmed the their support to the armed forces and the readiness and preparedness of the popular resistance to defend the homeland until the rebel terrorist militia is defeated.
